This bronze is in good estate condition. It is signed G. Janensch 1918. It is missing the tool in his hands.  He was a German sculptor and medailleur.  Gerhard Janensch was a German sculptor and medalist, studied at the Berlin Academy and received a Rome scholarship in 1884. From 1887-1924 he taught as a professor at the academy.
